ALMA Survey of Orion Planck Galactic Cold Clumps (ALMASOP): Density Structure of Centrally Concentrated Prestellar Cores from Multiscale Observations

Starless cores represent the initial stage of evolution toward (proto)star formation, and a subset them, known as prestellar cores, with high density (~ 10^6 cm^-3 or higher) being centrally concentrated are expected to be embryos (proto)stars. Determining profile therefore provides an important opportunity gauge conditions star formation. In this work, we perform rigorous modeling estimate profiles three nearly spherical among sample five highly dense detected by our recent observations. We employed multi-scale observational data (sub)millimeter dust continuum emission including those obtained SCUBA-2 on JCMT resolution ~5600 au multiple ALMA observations ~480 au. able consistently reproduce observed images simple prescribed profile, which bears inner region flat r^-2 outer region. By utilizing peak size proxy for dynamical find that modeled most likely unstable prone collapse. The sizes regions, compact ~500 au, signify them evolved rarely found date.
